Mike joined PSV in 2009 after spending 20 years playing professional baseball. Drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the first round in June of 1987, Mike went on to play in several post seasons, a World Series, a winter All Star team that went to Japan and an appearance in the 2002 All-Star game. His road to success included parts of 8 years in the minor leagues and several winters playing baseball in Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic before becoming a successful major leaguer. Mike's career and his personal life saw many twists and turns while chasing his dream and it is these amazing experiences, his love for the game and his desire to be of service that will provide the foundation for him to become a highly respected Sport's Life Coach.

Personally, Mike is a graduate of Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, Mike was a member of the 1986 USA baseball team and was twice a first team All-American. Mike received The Chairman's Award from the Atlanta Braves in 1999 for his community involvement and was very active with assisting the underprivileged throughout his career. Mike was also a member of three different Heroes of the Diamond tours that visited military personnel in Alaska in 2003, Afghanistan in 2007 and Iraq in 2007.

Mike was also very active with the Major League Baseball Player's Union, serving as a player representative and also as a member of their Executive Board.

Mike lives in the Northeast Phoenix area and has a son, Chance, and a daughter, Skyler.
